Moroso Josephine Sofa
Deriving from a desire to be freed from the sharp, boxy shapes of modern sofas, Josephine is defined by the rounded, elegant shapes which form the armrests and backrest, three separate pieces that embrace the seat like the petals of a flower. The proportions are delicate, made even lighter by the seat, which is visibly raised off the ground. Josephine is a product with balanced proportions, whose femininity obviously starts with its name, a tribute to Josephine Baker, an emancipated woman and an icon of provocation in the Thirties. Josephine is available in the sofa or tete-a-tete versions designed for the contract sector but equally suitable for a domestic setting. Josephine collection covers are not removable.
