Achille Castiglioni could have had this in mind while designing in 1988 one of his classics, Taraxacum 88. A modern chandelier that retains the same lighting characteristics as multiple bulbs, making it a simple and unitary decorative element. 

Structure formed by 20 pressed, polished aluminum triangles. 60 or 120 clear Globolux lamps housed around the structure.
