Virgil Abloh 3909 kettle is a reinterpretation of Michael Graves’ iconic 9093 that mixes two different cultural aspects: the phenomenon of basketball and its multicultural imagery, an integral part of Abloh's personal history, with the world of design. The Michael Graves Design figurative bird whistle has been redesigned, now taking the form of a basketball player caught in the action of jumping to slam dunk, while the colors of the handle and the knob are lit with an intense purple.
